Oh yes love the dire wolves , but also big favourites are Tyrion, Jon Snow and the love story part of Dany and Khal Drogo her Sun and Stars, I cried and cried when she had to smother him  ( I am such a girly )

Oh I sobbed my heart out at that scene Moonshadow, I love Dany she's one of my favourite characters (in the books but not so much in the TV series), she becomes such a powerful character I love her journey. Can't wait to see how her story unfolds.
Someday I'll wish upon a star
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me

Lovely surprise yesterday my daughter bought me the prequel to Game Of Thrones home from work  :)
It is the hard backed , and a beautiful book with more then 160 black/white illustrations by Gary Gianni a fantasy artist. Haven't started it yet as she brought me another book which I had asked for so reading that one first and saving A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, just peeking at the beautiful artwork from time to time  :)

I love receiving books, especially if it is one I have been coveting for some time, spend a lot of time in charity shops looking for books, they are getting so expensive, so a good bargain is wonderful

It is a beautiful hard backed book 2dogs, my daughter works in a bookshop and is lucky enough to buy what ever she wants at cost/ wholesale price, it is very handy I ask her for what I want she will order it if it is not in stock then usually she gives it to me as a present as money is rather tight for me at the moment, I have a lovely daughter  :)

Oooh my youngest daughter works in a bookshop too now!  It's her 'Saturday' job while she's at university.  So far she's loving it - and even more so since she received her staff discount card.  I think we may all be getting books for Christmas - happy days   :)

Just finished the prequel , it is set a century before Game Of Thrones, it is a shorter tale, not as complex with two main characters, both very likeable pity you won't really know what happens to them, only as a vague referred back to in the Game of Thrones, but a very good read  :)
